Leagues during second session may play one alternate date during the season. That alternate date will be determined when the full schedule of games is set.

The travel league consists of an 8-week season including playoffs. (The format is 7 regular season games and one playoff night.) All teams participate in the playoffs. The regular season games are 40 minutes in duration. Rosters are not limited to your fall travel roster. Cost is $795 and includes referee fees.  U17 and U18 should should play HS league. U15 and U16 can register for JV, or HS league for premier teams.

  • Teams U12 and younger:  6v6      5 field players and a keeper

  • Teams U13 and older:       5v5      4 field players and a keeper

This change will result in more touches per player and and quicker decision making.

We will be playing on 60x130) fields  for this season. We have adjusted our league fees and the number of players on the field. We have special multiple team pricing in effect for this winter season.

Open roster policy allows you to have invite guest players to play with your team. It allows individuals without a team to get playing time, and it allows coaches an opportunity to see potential future players in small-sided game situations.

What is 5v5 indoor soccer? (click here for more)

It is a quick paced game that emphasizes quick decision making and reinforces the importance of your first touch. It rewards one-touch and two touch passing. It focuses on the importance of immediate transition from attacking to defending. Players touch the ball 25 percent more per game than 6v6, but you seem 50 percent more involved. It forces players to work on all areas of their game. There is a lot more cycling of players through the field and less "position" specific play. All players attack, all players defend. Everyone is engaged...

How can my team save money?

Many teams have been contacting us about registering split teams. For this season, we have introduced our multiple team pricing to reward you for getting your team more touches. See the pricing chart on this page.

NO MEMBERSHIP FEES

Some facilities charge an upfront membership fee of $30 - $50 per player each year. That is an additional cost of $360 -$600 per team. What is that buying you?

NO ID CARDS

Some facilities are requiring ID cards at a cost of $10 per player. Don't lose the card or you'll pay to replace it.

NO ADD-ONS

At The Far Post, the league fee is the price. The referee is built in to the price.
