The Wee Play soccer program is all about young kids having fun. The
foremost goal of Wee Play is to
create a safe fun play environment. First, a variety of games are played to
make the kids at home within the group. Then, once the kids are comfortably
enjoying themselves we play games that develop soccer skills and soccer
knowledge.
There is extensive early
childhood literature available about the importance of play in the day to day
learning environments of young children. Wee
Play is a play based program that introduces soccer as a fun sport.
The program is offered as an
8-week class. Each child receives a shirt on the first day. Kids are invited to
enjoy a complimentary snack and drink with their classmates at the end of each
play session.
Currently, the Wee Play soccer program is exclusively
offered at The Far Post, a state of
the art indoor soccer facility located in Oaks, PA.

TOTS (3
& 4 year olds) provides a fun, safe, and exciting environment in which
kids are introduced to group play where a ball is the central focus of
activity. TOTS improves gross motor skills and
social skills through the vehicle of fun cooperative games and exercises. |
|
Teaching Young Kids to Enjoy Soccer |
TYKES (4
& 5 year olds) is a play
based program teaching fundamental ball control techniques through fun team
games. TYKES games improve gross motor skills, and games are
more team oriented than TOTS introducing the children to social dynamic of
